Shuttle & Vine Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 1st June 2025

By booking a Shuttle & Vine experience, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Booking & Payment

1.1 Booking Process

All bookings for Shuttle & Vine experiences must be made through our official website. We use a third-party booking system, Rezdy, to manage reservations. By making a booking, you agree to the terms set out by both Shuttle & Vine and Rezdy.

1.2 Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept card payments only. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email has been received.

1.3 Refund Policy

You may cancel your booking up to 7 days before your trip and receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of departure. However, you may transfer your ticket to another guest at no cost.

1.4 Ticket Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. It is your responsibility to inform us of the name change at least 24 hours before the experience to ensure a smooth check-in.

1.5 Private Bookings

Shuttle & Vine offers private group experiences and full shuttle hire upon request. Private bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability. Please contact us directly for availability, pricing, and terms specific to private bookings.

2. The Experience

2.1 What’s Included

Each Shuttle & Vine ticket includes a hosted shuttle experience with return transport from Brighton Station to selected vineyard destinations. Transport is provided by our licensed PSV partner, United Minibuses. Please note: vineyard tours, tastings, and other wine-related experiences are not included in your ticket and must be booked separately with each vineyard.

2.2 Itinerary

All itineraries are fixed and clearly stated at the time of booking. Shuttle & Vine is not responsible for changes to vineyard experiences that are managed independently by each venue.

2.3 Age Policy

Children are welcome on Shuttle & Vine trips when accompanied by a responsible adult. However, please be aware that many vineyard experiences — including tastings and certain tours — are restricted to guests aged 18 and over. Entry to these activities may be denied at the discretion of the vineyard.

Infants under 2 years old ("babes in arms") who do not require a separate seat do not need a ticket.

3. Transport

3.1 Transport Provider

All transport services are delivered by United Minibuses, a fully licensed Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operator and official transport partner of Shuttle & Vine. By booking with us, you acknowledge that Shuttle & Vine acts as a host and coordinator of the overall experience, while United Minibuses is responsible for the operation and safety of the shuttle journeys.

3.2 Travel Times & Delays

We make every effort to adhere to published departure and return times. However, traffic conditions, weather, or unforeseen circumstances may occasionally result in delays. Shuttle & Vine and United Minibuses cannot be held liable for any loss, inconvenience, or missed connections arising from delays outside our control.

3.3 Pick-Up & Drop-Off

All journeys begin and end at Brighton Station (unless otherwise stated). It is your responsibility to arrive at the meeting point on time. The shuttle will not wait for late arrivals, and missed departures will not be eligible for refunds.

4. Customer Conduct

4.1 Behaviour Onboard

All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, drivers, fellow passengers, and vineyard partners throughout the experience. Disruptive, abusive, or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.

4.2 Alcohol Consumption

The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited onboard the shuttle at all times. Guests are welcome to enjoy alcoholic beverages during vineyard experiences, but no open containers are permitted during any part of the transport journey. Anyone found drinking onboard may be removed from the experience without refund.

4.3 Right to Refuse Service

Shuttle & Vine and our transport partners reserve the right to refuse boarding or remove any guest from the experience without refund if they:

  • Appear intoxicated at the start of the journey

  • Are disruptive or endanger the safety or comfort of others

  • Fail to follow reasonable instructions from staff or drivers

This is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.

5. Liability

5.1 Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience, Shuttle & Vine accepts no liability for:

  • Changes or cancellations made by vineyard partners

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen events

  • Missed experiences due to late arrival at the pick-up point

  • Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the experience

Transport services are provided by United Minibuses, a third-party operator. Shuttle & Vine is not responsible for their actions or any issues arising from transport operations.

5.2 Personal Responsibility

Guests participate in the experience at their own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit to travel and to follow all safety guidelines provided by Shuttle & Vine staff, the transport provider, and vineyard partners.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling by Shuttle & Vine

6.1 Right to Cancel or Reschedule

Shuttle & Vine reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Low booking numbers

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Operational issues with our transport partner

  • Venue closures or changes

We will always aim to provide as much notice as possible in the event of a cancellation or rescheduling.

6.2 Guest Options

If your trip is cancelled by us, you will be offered the choice of:

  • Transferring your booking to a future date

  • Receiving a credit note to use at a later time

  • Receiving a full refund

Shuttle & Vine is not liable for any additional costs incurred by guests, such as travel, accommodation, or third-party bookings.

7. Health & Safety

7.1 Guest Responsibility

Guests are expected to act responsibly and follow all safety instructions issued by Shuttle & Vine staff, transport providers, and vineyard partners. This includes remaining seated during shuttle travel and adhering to venue-specific safety requirements.

7.2 Health Considerations

It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to travel. If you have any specific health concerns or accessibility needs, please contact us prior to booking so we can advise on suitability.

7.3 COVID-19 or Other Public Health Measures

Where relevant, guests are required to comply with any current public health guidance in place at the time of travel. This may include mask-wearing, social distancing, or other venue-specific measures. Failure to comply may result in removal from the experience without refund.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

8.1 Data Collection

When you make a booking with Shuttle & Vine, we collect personal information such as your name, contact details, and payment information. This data is used solely to manage your booking and communicate with you about your trip.

8.2 Data Sharing

We may share necessary details with our transport partner or vineyard venues solely for operational purposes. We do not sell or distribute your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

8.3 Marketing Preferences

With your consent, we may occasionally send you updates about new experiences, offers, or events. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the link in any of our emails.
