Leonardslee Wine Estate

Set within the historic 19th‑century Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens, this boutique winery forms a key part of a 240‑acre Grade I landscape, first planted in 1801 and painstakingly restored after nearly a decade of closure.

The vineyard, launched in 2017 by Penny Streeter OBE, spans 37 acres at Mannings Heath with over 70,000 vines planted. It now includes the UK's first commercial planting of Pinotage alongside traditional sparkling varieties: 60 % Chardonnay, 30 % Pinot Noir, and 10 % Pinot Meunier.

Under the expert guidance of winemaker Johann Fourie (known for Benguela Cove in South Africa), Leonardslee is positioning itself as a premium English sparkling wine producer, with ambitions to join the ranks of the world’s top 100 vineyards

English Tutored Tasting (£20pp)

Let expert sommeliers guide you through Leonardslee's signature English sparkling wine collection. Learn about their Blanc de Blancs, Brut Rosé, and Brut Reserve.
